Terms of use

Last updated 29 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Abro. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Who we are

Abro is run by Brook, an independent developer. You can reach us at brookgeta@gmail.com.

Your account

Households

You can invite one partner to a household. They see what you share, but not expenses you mark as personal. Only the person who logged an expense can change or delete it. Either of you can leave at any time and take your own expenses along.

Your content

What you enter is yours. You give us permission to store it, and to show it to you and to anyone in your household, only so we can run Abro for you.

Fair use

Don’t use Abro for anything illegal. Don’t try to reach other people’s data, and don’t disrupt the service, overload it or get around its limits.

Not financial advice

Abro is a log. It shows the figures you enter and the exchange rates you set. It doesn’t give financial, tax or legal advice, and it doesn’t check that amounts are right.

The service

We work to keep Abro available and your data safe, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. We may change features, or pause or stop the service. If we plan to stop it, we’ll give you notice so you can export your data. We recommend keeping your own copy with Export CSV or Back up.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by information you entered. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above. If the change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app or by email first. Using Abro after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
